With San Diego Comic-Con coming up, Gentle Giant has revealed two new SDCC 2016 exclusives in these Super Powers First Shot Prototype Batman and Superman Jumbo Figures.
Replicating the appearance of a first look (or “first shot”) action figure as seen in the early stages of development during the figure’s manufacturing process, these limited edition Batman and Superman collectibles are set to make their exclusive debut at this summer’s Comic-Con event in San Diego. Both sixth scale jumbo figures are based on the original Batman and Superman action figures from The Super Powers Collection that Kenner originally released in 1984, but decked out in an all-blue treatment to mimic the prototype stage of development. While the original Super Powers Collection Superman and Batman Jumbo Figures from Gentle Giant are set to release later on this year, these First Shot collectible figures are arriving a little earlier at SDCC 2016.
